SANTA CRUZ BEER TRAIL LAUNCHES HISTORIC “FIRST RELEASE” BREWERY PASSPORT
SHOWCASING REGION’S GROUNDBREAKING CRAFT BEER SCENE

First Release Summer Passport Takes Locals & Visitors On Self-Guided Journey
With Help of Innovative Interactive Map & Video, Beer Release Ticker & More!

Santa Cruz, CA: The Santa Cruz Beer Trail organization officially launched in November 2015 and is now debuting their “First Release Passport” guiding Santa Cruz locals and visitors into the 2016 summer craft beer season. The Trail Passport program embodies what the Beer Trail is all about, encouraging people to get out and discover its 11 breweries (four more coming soon) and six current tap rooms.

The Passport program is the ultimate way to experience the Santa Cruz craft beer region. Trail Co-Founder, Annie Pautsch proudly explains, “To have a community of craft brewers, creating award-winning beer right in our backyard is a gift to Santa Cruz. The vibrant environment they've created has transformed the social scene! If you ask most people where their favorite place to go out with family and friends is, it's likely going to be one of our many local breweries.”

Now that the Trail’s Passport program has launched, each authentically, custom-designed Passport will help its owner navigate their way with the perfect memento to document their travels. Passports feature a prominent local artist’s homage to local craft beer, the region’s incredible beer history going back to 1848, a bit of beer geekery for new and seasoned beer drinkers, and most importantly, a wide array of Trail offerings and savings from everyone’s favorite breweries.
